MICHELLE BAKKER
Michelle Bakker¹s career in the music and entertainment industry has spanned over 20 years, during which time she has developed a strong knowledge of the
industry and a global network of contacts. Her illustrious career has encompassed artist management, event and tour management, marketing and promotions and production coordination, to name but a few. Her skills have seen her travel the world, working for extensive periods of time in Los Angeles and the United Kingdom, Prague, Morocco, Australia and Canada before returning to New Zealand in 2003 where she has been the central figure in the development of Greg Johnson¹s career; building his worldwide profile, securing recording and publishing deals in many territories and driving his US radio campaign. Michelle¹s passion is to live life to it¹s fullest
everyday which drives her to excel in everything that she executes.
CARLA POTTER
Carla Potters career in the music industry started with a passion for the drums and making music before she became integrated into the many managerial sectors of the industry. Drumming for a punk rock band led Carla into tour management, where she worked with many of New Zealand¹s top musicians and numerous overseas artists including punk rock legends NOFX and Bad Religion.
From here a natural progression into other areas of the industry including event and project management, stage management, artist management, marketing and publicity took place. Carla has also been heavily involved in NZ's radio and print media industries where her work as a freelance music journalist led her to co-found and edit the South sland¹s first street press, a magazine called Hype. Carla¹s desire to give back to the industry that she loves saw her establish The Blah Blah Entertainment Charitable Trust in 1998 with an aim to give free advice to musicians to help establish careers in the music industry.
TABITHA COLEMAN
Tabitha’s flair for the creative industries started from a young age. She was brought up in the music industry and has distinctive childhood memories of recording studios and blaring heavey metal beats from her father’s band-Killing Joke. Her passion for writing and news has lead her to studying journalism in Auckland where she is currently working on publicity for the BRAT agency and learning from the very best in their industry.
